Dr. Jamshid Lotfi

Dr. Lotfi has 67 years of experience in the medical field with a specialty as a neurologist. He has practiced medicine in Iran, England, and the United States. He is the founder and the president of MS Society of Iran. He has also functioned as a professor of neurology at Tehran University and Baylor College of Medicine. Since 2009, he has served as a Neurologist at Methodist Hospital Baytown, United Neurology Houston, EMG Center Of Houston, as well as a Research Associate at Clinical Trial Network and Hope Bio Science Sugarland Texas.

Dr. Lotfi is Member of Royal College of Surgeons, England, Royal Society of Medicine, London, Royal College of Physicians, London, American Academy of Neurology, Texas Medical Association, Harris County Medical Society, Houston Neurological Society, and Association of British Neurologists.

He has also served as Neurologist at St Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, Houston, Methodist Hospital, Houston, Veterans Administration Medical Center, Houston, Matagorda General Hospital, Bay City, Texas, Herman Hospital, Houston, Texas, and Jam General Hospital, Tehran, Iran.

He has 42 professional presentations and 46 international publications in the field of medicine, as well as 16 clinical research studies.

Aside from his remarkable achievements in the field of medicine and neurology, he has an insatiable interest in literature, arts, and poetry. He publishes his own anecdotes on his Facebook page. He is an avid Houston Poetry Night supporter and a faithful ICF-Houston member.
