I can talk about my education and career achievements, but instead, I want to share my journey. I was born and raised in Iran, where I went to school and got married. and blessed with my daughter, Ava. At some point, we decided to leave our country. I was privileged to live on several continents before returning to my second home, California. I learned so much from each chapter of my life. With every step we took away from our motherland, I felt more strongly about the importance of staying connected to my roots.
We moved to Houston in 2011 because of my husband’s job. I sought out the Iranian community primarily for my daughter, Ava, so she could connect with her culture and mother language. The Iranian Cultural Foundation (ICF) became the gateway to the community I was looking for. I was fortunate to serve as a volunteer and then board member for six years, contributing in various roles such as school liaison, public relations, event planning, treasurer, and fundraising—often juggling multiple roles at once.
I firmly believe that Iranians deserve a stronger voice in the community, which motivated me to become actively involved in local and national campaigns, as well as initiatives within the Fort Bend Independent School District (FBISD)
Later on, for personal reasons, I decided to focus more on other aspects of my life and develop my business, especially after my daughter started college.
I am a proud Iranian and believe that each of us serves as an ambassador for our civilization and culture. Together, we can make a difference.
