Dr. Kaveh Moghaddam

Dr. Kaveh Moghaddam is an Associate Professor of Business Management at the University of Houston-Katy. His primary research and teaching interests are in the area of Small Business Development. He earned a Ph.D. in International Business Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Old Dominion University (ODU) in Virginia, and an MBA and a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University in Tehran. Prior to moving to the USA, he served as a management consultant in several public and private firms. At Sharif University, he served as the Student Association representative in 2002-2003. During his doctoral program, he founded the Persian Student Organization and served as the president during 2010-2011. In 2012, he was a member of the organizing committee at the Persian Cultural Society of Hampton Roads serving the Persian community in Southern Virginia. He moved to Houston in 2013 and was elected to serve on the ICF-Houston board of directors in 2014.
