Donna Keeya is a proud Iranian American, born in northern California and raised in the Houston area. Donna spent many of her childhood years involved with ICF as a volunteer. In college, Donna studied journalism at the University of Houston. She has minors in U.S. Ethnic Studies and History which gave her the opportunity to take several courses related to Iranian and Middle Eastern history.
Professionally, Donna spent two years in TV news at KSLA, the CBS affiliate in Shreveport, LA. She worked as a reporter, anchor and producer. She now works for the Communications Office at the University of Houston’s business school.
In her free time, Donna loves cooking and trying new restaurants. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and getting her steps in.
