Ameneh Rostami was born and raised in Iran, where she earned her bachelor’s degree from the Petroleum University of Technology. In 2007, she moved to the United States to pursue advanced studies at Texas A&M University, completing both a MSc. and a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering in 2015.
Following graduation, Dr. Rostami began her career in Houston, working in the oil and gas industry for several years. In 2024, she transitioned into the financial sector, becoming a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator. She now serves clients in residential mortgage lending.
Throughout her academic and professional journey, Dr. Rostami has been actively engaged in student and professional organizations, including Texas A&M Persian Student Association (PSA), the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and the Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts (SPWLA). She has also organized and hosted meetings and workshops, contributing to knowledge-sharing within her field.
Her dedication to service extends beyond her career. She has been involved with charitable organizations such as KIVA and the Child Foundation, supporting global initiatives to improve lives and create opportunities for underserved communities.
Most recently, Dr. Rostami has become engaged with the Iranian Cultural Foundation (ICF), attending events and connecting with the community. She values the foundation’s mission of cultural preservation and community service and considers it an honor to contribute to its work.
